Please Sign Your Waiver in Advance

To minimize delays, all trail riders must complete a liability waiver before their ride. Please sign your waiver online before arriving.

What to Bring

  • To save time at check-in, please have all riders complete the Liability Waiver ahead of time. Minors must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
  • Long pants are recommended, yoga pants or leggings are fine! Close-toed shoes are required!
  • Application of insect repellant and sunscreen is suggested prior to riding.
  • Bringing water and sunglasses is recommended
  • Come with questions! We love to get to know you better! Your happy experience makes us happy, and all our guides are friendly and knowledgeable. They also appreciate tips for their hard work and bright smiles!

  • When you arrive, please check in at the office in the main pavilion
  • Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled ride time

Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • Cancelations must be done at least 72 hours before your ride time to receive a full refund.
  • If you choose to reschedule your ride less than 72 hours before your ride time, you will be subject to an additional late rescheduling fee of 10% of your booking.
  • If you are more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled arrival time, your ride may be canceled and non-refundable. This includes last-minute decisions not to ride. No-shows are not refundable.
  • If the ride is canceled at the discretion of the Trail Manager or in case of inclement weather, a refund or reschedule will be offered. Please call ahead if you are concerned about the weather. We will reach out to you if we need to cancel your trail ride, so please make sure we have the best number to reach you.

Safety Requirements

  • We provide riding helmets free of charge, and helmets ARE MANDATORY for all riders, if you have your own riding helmet you are welcome to bring it
  • The height minimum requirement for children is 50 inches.
  • Weight max 250lbs for the safety of horses and riders.
  • All riders must sign a Release of Liability Waiver for Black Prong Adventures when they arrive and before they will be able to mount up. Parents must sign for minors.
  • Health: Good health, free of neck and back injuries, cannot be pregnant (The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists recommends avoiding horseback riding during pregnancy because it can increase the risk of falling or abdominal trauma. Hormonal changes can also loosen ligaments, making it harder to ride and increasing the risk of injury). No Oxygen Tanks
  • No Riding doubles – no ”2-on-1 horse” allowed
